COMPLAINTS

In accordance with the Professional Planners Act, any person may make a complaint against a member of the Association alleging that the member is guilty of either unprofessional conduct or incompetence in carrying on the practice of professional planning. The Discipline Committee of LPPANS is charged with investigating any complaints.

Members must agree to abide by the Professional Code of Ethics and the Professional Code of Conduct.

The four provincial associations have also adopted a Joint Policy of Professional Conduct.

The Discipline Committee will investigate a complaint filed against a member. Complaints can be filed using the Complaint Form. The accompanying guide included with the form provides additional information on filing a complaint and the process that will be followed.
