Atlantic Planners Institute

The Atlantic Planners Institute / Institut des Urbanistes de l’Atlantique (API), is a professional association that supports professional planners in the four Provincial Associations in the Atlantic Provinces of Canada: New Brunswick Association of Professional Planners, Licensed Professional Planners Association of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island Institute of Professional Planners and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Professional Planners.

Responsibility for the regulation and licensing of professional planning in Nova Scotia is the responsibility of LPPANS. Administrative support, regional and national coordination, and membership support are provided to LPPANS by API.
